Patient Services Representative (PRN) – Urgent Care

Frye Regional Medical Center, a 355‑bed acute care hospital in North Carolina, is seeking an experienced Patient Services Representative for its urgent care practice. The role is a vital first point of contact, welcoming patients and efficiently managing scheduling, registration, and pre‑admission processes.

• Perform scheduling, registration, patient pre‑admission, and admission at the physician practice.
• Handle reception and discharge functions.
• Obtain complete and accurate patient demographic information.
• Execute proper, compliant patient liability collection techniques before, during, and after date of service.

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s degree preferred.
• Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
