LPN Primary​/Medical Assistant, Mesaba Clinic

Overview

Fairview Range is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Medical Assistant to join our primary care team at the Fairview Mesaba Clinic in Hibbing, MN. As an LPN or MA, you will provide high quality health care for the entire family from newborn to geriatric, with the full range of primary and specialty care services. Clinics are located in Hibbing, Mountain Iron, and Nashwauk, providing convenient access to care and a direct link to M Health Fairview and University of Minnesota Physicians.

The LPN/MA serves as a clinical and organizational resource to the Clinic Providers and Support Services in coordinating the delivery of nursing care.

• Demonstrating strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Exhibiting excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize patient care needs.
• Capable of functioning under pressure and in stressful situations.
• Facilitating the exchange, reception, and thoughtful examination of information; clearly defining objectives and devising effective action plans; showcasing proficiency in making informed decisions, operating autonomously, and prioritizing diverse patient care needs.

This position will work 72‑80 hours per two weeks. The shift length will be 8 hours on the day/evening shift. Weekends as needed. The primary location is Hibbing but coverage may be required in Nashwauk and Mountain Iron.

• MN Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) upon hire / Medical Assistant licensure
• Basic Life Support (American Heart Association or Red Cross) within 180 days

• Previous nursing experience

$22.71 – $31.31 hourly
