LPN​/Medical Assistant, Mesaba Clinic, Primary Care

Overview

Fairview Range is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Medical Assistant to join our primary care team at the Fairview Mesaba Clinic in Hibbing, MN. As a licensed practitioner you will provide high‑quality health care for families from newborn to geriatric, covering the full range of primary and specialty services across our clinics in Hibbing, Mountain Iron, and Nashwauk.

• Exhibit excellent organizational skills and prioritize patient care needs.
• Function under pressure and in stressful situations.
• Facilitate the exchange, reception, and thoughtful examination of information; clearly define objectives and devise effective action plans while operating autonomously.

This position will work 72‑80 hours every two weeks. Shifts are 8‑hour day/evening days, with weekends as needed. Primarily based in Hibbing with occasional coverage in Nashwauk and Mountain Iron.

• Required: MN Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) upon hire;
  Basic Life Support (American Heart Association or Red Cross) within 180 days.
• Preferred: Previous nursing experience.

• Primary care with over 20 providers and more than 50 support staff in Hibbing, Mt. Iron, and Nashwauk.
• Health care team includes physicians, advanced practice providers, RN care coordinators, RNs, LPNs, MAs, and patient access coordinators.
• Hospital‑based clinic system.
