LPN Primary​/Medical Assistant, Mesaba Clinic

Overview

Fairview Range is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Medical Assistant to join our primary care team at the Fairview Mesaba Clinic in Hibbing, MN. As an LPN/MA, you will provide high‑quality health care for the entire family, from newborn to geriatric, with a full range of primary and specialty services. Clinics are located in Hibbing, Mountain Iron, and Nashwauk and are supported by our partnership with M Health Fairview, which extends direct access to physician specialists and advanced services offered by University of Minnesota Physicians.

• Serve as a clinical and organizational resource to clinic providers and support services in coordinating the delivery of nursing care.
• Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Exhibit excellent organizational skills and prioritize patient care needs.
• Function effectively under pressure and in stressful situations.
• Facilitate the exchange, reception, and thoughtful examination of information; clearly define objectives and devise effective action plans.
• Operate autonomously, prioritizing the diverse needs of patient care and making informed decisions.

This position will work 72–80 hours per two weeks. Shift lengths are 8 hours on day/evening shifts, with weekends as needed. The primary location is Hibbing, but coverage may be required in Nashwauk and Mountain Iron.

• MN Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) upon hire.
• Medical Assistant licensure (if applicable).
• Basic Life Support certification (American Heart Association or Red Cross) within 180 days.

• Previous nursing experience.

$22.71–$31.31 hourly.
