Base pay range: $38.80/hr - $57.11/hr

Schedule:

48-60 hours per two weeks, 12-hour day/night shifts. Weekends: every third weekend.

• 28 beds
• Multidisciplinary care team including hospitalists and advanced practice providers, RNs, LPNs, unit assistants, social workers, RN case managers

Unit treats medical, surgical, and pediatric patients. Remodeled in 2015, 28 single patient rooms each equipped with telemed capabilities, and an adjacent 4-bed ICU.

• Performs a total systems assessment according to established policies (including physical, psychosocial and spiritual data) upon admission, as well as ongoing assessments.
• Analyzes assessment data, identifies problems and develops the plan of care in collaboration with the patient, significant other and resource personnel.

• One year Medical/Surgical and/or Pediatric nursing experience within the last 3 years.
• If no applicants meet the position qualifications, consideration will be given to those applicants who: have less than one year medical/surgical nursing experience and attend PALS and BLS class within 6 months of employment.
• Current Minnesota RN licensure.
• Current BLS certification or obtains within 3 months of employment and maintains certification.
• Current PALS certification or obtains within 12 months of employment and maintains certification.
• Current BCS or acquires within three months of employment and maintains certification.
