Essential Function

Store Managers are responsible for hiring, developing, and leading all store associates while ensuring optimal customer experiences, effectively overseeing all store operations, and maintaining brand standards. Develop strategies and plans to achieve key performance indicators and financial targets through business analysis, action planning, effective communication, and consistent accountability. Assistant Managers support the Store Manager in all outlined areas and are responsible for all Primary Duties when the Store Manager is not present.

Assistant Manager

Primary Duties
  • Brand (30%):
    Supervise and support associates’ daily goals to deliver exceptional customer experiences, maximize sales/KPIs, and drive customer loyalty. Ensure brand standards such as merchandising, POGs, marketing, dress code, etc., are met. Resolve customer issues and analyze store trends to anticipate demands.
  • People (30%):
    Engage, train, and develop teams to achieve results. Recruit actively and identify strengths and opportunities for associates, providing coaching or counseling as needed. Maintain positive relations and communicate effectively with the team and peers.
  • Operations (30%):
    Execute company processes through training, management, and analysis. Manage inventory, payroll, store opening/closing procedures, and ensure compliance with directives and projects.
  • Safety/Loss Prevention (10%):
    Maintain a safe environment, follow policies, protect assets, and ensure compliance with safety and HAZMAT procedures.
  • Knowledge, Skills, and Requirements
    • High School Diploma or equivalent
    • Must be 18 years or older
    • Preferred: 3+ years retail/customer service experience, 1+ year management experience
    • Effective communication, scheduling availability, cosmetology license (desirable but not required)
