Position: Accountant - Staff/Bookkeeper/Junior/Senior

We are currently on the HUNT for Accountants with different levels of experience!

Below are some of the responsibilities & requirements we are looking for:

• Accurately prepare journal entries.
• Diligently prepare various balance sheet account reconciliations, obtain the necessary detailed transactions for the account and investigate and correct reconciling items.
• Assist in the preparation of various monthly financial reports and ad-hoc reports that support business decisions.
• Assist with and monitor transactions (e.g., W8 check, Gain/Loss integrity, and accuracy, checks received to deposit, etc.) requiring a review and sign-off.
• Participate in the preparation and entire process for audits (regulatory, financial statements, and internal audits).
• Utilize and maximize usage of accounting systems and technology tools to facilitate and improve processes and maintain records.
• Collaborate with peers and stakeholders to add to the collective innovative thinking and support continuous improvement initiatives to streamline work processes, including accounting automation and digitalization.
• Protects the organization's value by keeping information confidential.
• Comply with the BSA/AML laws, rules, regulations, and the bank's BSA/AML policies and procedures.
• Cross-train assigned team members for function backup purposes.
• Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations Other projects as assigned.

Skills:

• 1-3+ years of experience in financial accounting
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting - Highly desired!
• Good knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and industry and tax regulations
• Big 4 experience is a plus!!
• Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
• Highly detail and problem-solving oriented and organized at work with the ability to multitask
• Be enthusiastic with a high interest in continuous learning
