We are thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity for a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our dedicated team y’s Catholic First School in Hexham.

• Be an enthusiastic and motivated practitioner with high expectations of themselves and for our children.
• Be willing to join our staff team to further improve outcomes for our children and participate fully in the life of our vibrant school.
• Have an understanding of the needs of SEND children across our nurturing and inclusive school, supporting class teachers in reviewing short‑term SMART targets on SEND support plans.
• Have experience of delivering a Phonics programme.
• Be able to work with parents to provide the very best support for all our children.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• A collaborative and cooperative approach to teamwork.
