POSITION SUMMARY

Responsible for consistently providing excellent service, high‑quality food and a clean restaurant environment by performing one or more workstations in accordance with Popeyes procedures, systems, and standards while meeting 20/20 guest expectations.

GUEST EXPECTATIONS
  • (Hassle Free) Always says "YES" to the guest and works with the team to solve problems, following the 3‑step process (Listen, Apologize, Resolve) and using Popeyes Smart Selling standards.
  • Is knowledgeable and answers guest questions quickly and accurately.
  • Stays calm and productive during busy periods; does not become flustered.
  • Adheres to Popeyes uniform and grooming policies.
  • Exhibits a friendly, welcoming attitude and a positive demeanor.
  • Maintains restaurant cleanliness (interior and exterior) and ensures proper food presentation and temperature.
  • Provides fast, accurate service and communicates with the team to keep orders correct.
  • Follows food safety procedures and hand‑washing/regimen standards.
  • Acts as a brand ambassador, representing Popeyes with pride and enthusiasm.
  • Supports teammates, maintains a can‑do attitude, and is dependable during peak times.
  • Adapts quickly to changing business needs and follows all Popeyes policies and standards.
RESPONSIBILITIES – FRONT OF RESTAURANT

Perform duties in Guest Service and Interior/Exterior areas as listed below:

  • Guest Service (Dine‑In/Drive‑Thru)
    • Immediately acknowledge and welcome guests.
    • Take, clarify, and enter orders; assist guests with menu selection.
    • Handle POS transactions, provide change, and thank guests upon completion.
    • Assemble orders and deliver to customers, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
    • Maintain cleanliness and restock work areas.
  • Interior
    • Empty trash, sweep, mop floors; clean tables, chairs, windows, and doors.
    • Clean and stock restrooms.
    • Maintain kitchen equipment, including drink dispensers and POS devices.
    • Inspect all areas for cleanliness and safety.
  • Exterior
    • Sweep and remove trash from parking lots, drive‑thru, sidewalks, and curbs.
    • Maintain cleanliness of drive‑thru menus and exterior signage.
    • Inspect exterior areas for safety and orderliness.
RESPONSIBILITIES – BACK OF RESTAURANT

Carry out the following duties under Assembly, Prep, Fryer, Interior, Exterior, and Receiving & Storage:

  • Assembly
    • Use video monitor to assemble products accurately, ensuring correct ingredients and portioning.
    • Verify quality, temperature, and appearance before delivery.
    • Discard expired or sub‑standard products.
  • Prep
    • Properly defrost, store, and rotate products (FIFO).
    • Maintain clean prep areas and food safety standards.
    • Inspect ingredients for freshness.
  • Fryer
    • Prepare menu items according to procedure, monitor timers, and remove items when ready.
    • Decorate and store products properly.
    • Keep fryer area clean and stocked; wear required safety equipment.
  • Interior
    • Maintain cleanliness of all interior equipment and surfaces.
    • Sanitize dishes and utensils; manage fryer maintenance.
    • Inspect overall cleanliness and safety.
  • Exterior
    • Clean drive‑thru, dumpster, and exterior signage.
    • Inspect exterior for cleanliness.
  • Receiving & Storage
    • Receive and store deliveries following established procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Guest service or food preparation experience is an advantage; comfort in a high‑volume, fast‑paced restaurant.
  • Minimum age 16 years; must communicate clearly in English; ability to read, understand written English, and perform basic math.
  • Must be able to stand and walk ~90–95% of shift, lift 15–25 lbs, and work effectively in a team.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Ability to walk, stand, and move throughout the restaurant; lift and carry 15–25 lbs.
  • Ability to operate a cash register, read video monitors, and listen to guest orders.
