Job Description Responsibilities

• Operate all equipment.
• Stock ingredients from delivery area storage, work area, and walk‑in cooler.
• Prepare product.
• Receive and process telephone orders.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and facility approximately daily.
• Deliver product by car and then to the customer’s door.
• Deliver flyers, door‑hangers, or other marketing materials.

Orientation and training are provided on the job. Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions. Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co‑workers to process orders over the phone and in person.

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (calculator may be used).
• Must be able to give correct monetary change.
• Strong verbal, written, and telephone skills for taking and processing orders.
• Motor coordination between body and hands/fingers to make rapid, precise movements.
• Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record meeting company standards.
• Access to an insured vehicle for delivery purposes.
• Navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses within a designated delivery area.
• Capacity to navigate adverse terrain, including multi‑story buildings and private homes while carrying product.

Standing:
Most tasks are performed from a standing position. Walking surfaces include ceramic tile “bricks” with linoleum in some food process areas. Work surfaces range from 36″ to 48″ high.

Walking:
Generally in short distances and short durations.

Sitting:
Paperwork is normally completed at a desk or table.

Lifting:
Bulk deliveries (up to 60 lb, 3′ × 1.5′) are unloaded with a hand truck and stacked on shelves up to 72″ high.

Carrying:
Large cans (≈3 lb 7 oz), pizza sauce (≈30 lb), and dough trays (≈12 lb each) are moved over short distances.

Pushing:
Trays on dollies (≈24″ – 30″) require ≈7.5 lb of force.

Climbing:
Infrequent navigation of stairs or ladders for signage, wall cleaning, or maintenance.

Bending/Crouching/Squatting:
Forward bending at the waist is required at the pizza assembly station; repetitive bending occurs at the counter and when stacking ingredients.

Reaching:
Continuous reaching up, down, and forward is necessary for accessing ingredients, cleaning, and answering phones.

Hand tasks:
Continuous use of hands; frequent forearm and wrist exertion during dough shaping and placement of pizza peel and cutter.

Equipment:
Use of pencils/pens, computers, telephones, calculators, pizza cutter, and pizza peel.
