The Position: The Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) supports licensed Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) in the delivery of speech and language services to students. Under the supervision of an SLP, the SLPA assists with implementing treatment plans, conducting therapy sessions, documenting student progress, and supporting communication goals as outlined in each student's Individualized Education Plan (IEP). The SLPA plays a vital role in enhancing students' communication skills, contributing to their academic and social-emotional success.
Main Base: San Dimas, Two days of the week in Hesperia, CA
Compensation and Benefits:
The pay range we’re offering is $26-32 hourly depending (Based) on experience.

Qualifications:
- Valid California Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) license in good standing
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field is preferred
- Previous experience as an SLPA, preferably in a school-based setting
- Ability to learn and apply various district computer-based IEP programs
- Excellent reading and writing skills
- Proficient in Google Workspace, Microsoft Office Suite, and other office-related software
- Self-Starter with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively with minimal supervision
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to demonstrate professionalism, patience, empathy, and courtesy
- Must successfully complete and maintain certification in Pro-ACT
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds, and physically assist, move, or restrain students as necessary to ensure safety and support
- Ability to perform physical duties including standing, sitting, lifting, carrying, and providing mobility or personal care to students (dressing, hygiene, toileting, etc.)
