Pharmaceutical Warehouse Operative

Location: Hertfordshire

We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Shift Operative to join a prominent company within Hertfordshire. As the Warehouse Shift Operative, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the warehouse, providing exceptional service to all stakeholders, suppliers, and various departments.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Your duties as the Warehouse Shift Operative will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1. Receiving, identifying, and inspecting incoming goods, and completing associated documentation, including quality control requests.

2. Placing incoming stock items into their storage locations and recording the location on the SAP Inventory Control system.

3. Picking and assembling orders for user departments and sections, ensuring compliance with Good Distribution Practice (cGDP) and Cold Chain Distribution (CCD) guidelines.

4. Operating counterbalance forklift trucks and other mechanical handling equipment safely and efficiently, while maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the warehouse facility.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Warehouse Shift Operative we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1. Relevant degree or equivalent qualification in a related field.

2. Proven industry experience in warehouse operations or supply chain management.

3. A working knowledge and practical experience with SAP Inventory Control system and mechanical handling equipment.

4. Counterbalance OR Reach Licence.
