• Warwickshire Base has been providing a range of services to protect children from CSE since 2014 and has been working with children and young people affected by criminal exploitation (CCE) since 2019.
• Direct work with children who are vulnerable to reduce the risk of abuse through sexual and criminal exploitation.
• Training, preventative and awareness raising programmes to children within schools and to staff from statutory and voluntary agencies working with children, as well as staff within the private sector.
• Packages of intervention which empower parents/carers to ensure that their children are kept safe.

Responsible for: a defined grouping of appropriately skilled staff (up to circa 10 staff depending on Service and Contract requirements) depending on Service and Contract requirements.

May need to operate remotely from CSM depending on Locality service locations.

• Leading and managing a designated team of people working with service users to provide all required Children’s Services activities and practices to the agreed standards; collaborating with other colleagues in the Locality as necessary.
• Raising awareness of Barnardo’s and its work within the Locality to commissioners, external partners and Barnardo’s supporters as part of the Locality management team.
