Basic Salary: £28,000 – depending on qualifications
OTE: £35,000+
Guaranteed Bonus:
First 3 months

We have recently rolled out new pay plans for our Service Technicians, including achievable uncapped OTEs and increased basic salaries depending on your qualifications.
Your basic salary will increase the more you learn.

Role Overview

We are looking for a passionate Service Technician to repair and service our vehicles to the highest standards possible. You will be working as part of a team to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business for the retailer.

Key Responsibilities

As a Service Technician, your key responsibilities will include:

* Receiving work from the workshop controller and carrying out related checks, administration, and protection routines

* Assessing tool and equipment requirements and communicating any related issues

* Servicing and repairing all vehicles

* Reporting on all additional repair requirements as they are identified

* Making written and verbal reports on service and repair work to the workshop controller to obtain authorisation

* Completing all administrative procedures (including warranty) relating to service and repair work

* Maintaining a clean, tidy, and safe working environment

* Undertaking vehicle road tests when necessary

* Assisting with the development and training of other technicians

* Attending meetings and training programmes as required

* Performing other duties in support of other team members as required

About You

You will ideally have:

* Level 3 vehicle technician qualification (VAG group background preferred)

* Excellent problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail

* Strong customer service skills with the ability to explain technical information clearly

* Outstanding organisation and time management skills, with the ability to work to deadlines
