An excellent opportunity has arisen within this growing manufacturing company close to Bishops Stortford for a Warehouse Operative to join it expanding team.

THE ROLE

The Warehouse Operative will be working as part of a team within the Stores and Dispatch area, managing aspects of the material flow requirements from point of arrival, movement throughout production processes, to final outgoing transactions.

Responsibilities include:

Picking, packing & processing scheduled and urgent daily orders for engineers and spare part requirements, working with logistics to ensure on time delivery metrics.

Acceptance of incoming stock deliveries, checking quantities, specification, condition and documentation in line with Quality Procedures.

Unpacking, Distribution and Replenishment of incoming materials to designated locations across factory floor, Quality Inspection and inventory storage units.

Managing traceability documents and dispatch of outgoing Returns and Non-Conforming items to suppliers.

Processing work orders, shipping documentation, and courier collections for daily orders, and large capital equipment orders for container freight collections.

THE PERSON

The ideal candidiate for the position of Warehouse Operative will have experience of working within a warehouse environment ideally within a production or manufacturing environment. You will need to be self motivated with the desire to learn.
