Monday to Friday, 9.00am till 5.30pm
Hourly Rate: £12.21 per hour (21 years of age+) / £10.00 per hour (18-20 years of age)
 
Our award winning client based in Letchworth Garden City are currently looking for a Junior Assembly Technician to join their team on a Temp to Perm basis, with a view to start immediately. The successful candidate must showcase a good work ethic, and be open to learn and develop on the job. Full training will be provided for this position.
 
Main duties as a Junior Assembly Technician:
- Working closely with the Manufacturing team to assemble various displays in muti-material including wood, metal, and acrylic
- Using various hand and power tools for each specific job
- Reading & understanding technical drawings
- To be trained across multiple departments and learn different methods and machines (CNC Machines for example)
- To maintain a high level of housekeeping, ensuring all Health and Safety measures are adhered to
 
What's needed as a Junior Assembly Technician:
- Previous experience within Joinery and Assembly is ideal but not essential
- Showcase a positive working attitude, and be open to learning new skills and tasks
- Good reliability and flexibility
- Able to work closely within a team, and open to performing individual tasks
- Must be physically fit and able to perform challenging and demanding tasks
