Senior Temporary Works / Structural Engineer

📍 East Hertfordshire (Hybrid – 2 days in office)

I’m working with a well‑established, specialist Civil & Structural consultancy in East Herefordshire with a strong reputation for contractor‑led design, particularly within Temporary Works (circa 75% of their workload).

They’re looking to appoint a Senior Engineer ahead of a long‑standing team member retiring next March. They’re keen to secure the right person early and avoid the usual struggle of finding strong temporary works talent locally.

• Senior OR Principal Temporary Works Engineer (Structures)
• Working closely with main contractors on London‑based schemes
• Informal, one‑stage interview process

• Basement construction & excavation support
• Demolition packages
• Trench/clad and contractor‑led structural works

• Strong background in Temporary Works design
• Crane bases & piling mats
• Confident delivering calculations and technical design independently
