Hersheypark amusement park spans 121-acres, and welcomes guests to experience Hersheypark Happy all year long! As the largest amusement park in Pennsylvania, Hersheypark is home to more than 70 rides including 15 coasters and 20+ kiddie rides, as well as a zoo, and an entire water park.
The Park Services Department is responsible for providing our guests with exceptional customer service while ensuring that our venues are clean and presentable for our guests and employees.

Job Duties- Conduct pre-shift meetings to ensure team members are aware of daily duties and assignments
- Perform daily inspections to ensure that cleanliness and appearance standards are met and/or exceeded
- Oversee assigned venue and coordinate team member duties while maintaining compliance with Child Labor Laws
- Create daily staffing assignments and communicate with manager(s) regarding staffing needs to ensure that all operational areas are covered.
- Establish and maintain a good working relationship with other departments and support teams
- Coach and develop team members while ensuring accountability and consistency
- Ensure that all minor employees adhere to Child Labor Laws
- Conduct and track training for new and newly promoted team members
- Assist with cleaning corporate office locations as needed
- Perform other duties as needed to ensure proper cleanliness and appearance
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Must have a minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in the Park Services department
- Must be friendly, upbeat, work well with other employees, and be able to interact with our guests
- Knowledge of child labor laws and the importance of proper break times for minors
- Must be able to work in large crowds
- Must be able to work independently for the majority of each shift and be self-motivated to perform all aspects of the job at all times
- Must have the ability to safeguard confidential information
- Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and Google Workspace applications
- Must have the ability to effectively communicate nonverbally, verbally, and in writing, including delivering instructions/directions, and speaking clearly on radios and phones
- Must display a positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and professional image in compliance with the Hershey Entertainment & Resorts guidelines
- Must have strong conflict-resolution/problem-solving skills
- Must be comfortable with exposure to cleaning chemicals and potential exposure to bodily fluids and other spills.
- Must be capable of carrying a pan and broom
- Physical requirements include the ability to stand and walk for up to 4 hours, bend at the waist and knees and have repeated manual dexterity, reach above shoulder level, and the ability to push, pull, and lift up to forty-five (45) pounds without assistance
- Must be able to work flexible hours including days, weekends, and holidays
- Employees are subject to a variety of weather conditions, including but not limited to extreme heat, sun exposure, cold, and inclement weather. Work is almost exclusively outdoors.
