Overview

Job Location:

US Remote

Summary: The individual in this position will be responsible for assisting the brand marketing team on specific projects and activities. The responsibilities will involve supporting ABMs and Brand Manager in both strategic and operational brand marketing work.

Key Activities / Responsibilities
  • Operational responsibilities:
    • Retail business tracking:
      Analyzing retail IRI data to assist in understanding key drivers of the business and informing the need for actions to address business opportunities or risks for programs, and ongoing evaluation of the Partnership and Promotions competitive landscape. Assisting with ad-hoc retail business analysis on an ongoing basis.
    • Promotions and Partnership Portfolio management: maintain timeline and key deliverable tracking across the portfolio, and communicate with cross functional team for on-time delivery of all initiatives
    • Partner management: tracking of asset approvals and ad hoc support
    • Budget management for holistic OPM team
  • Strategic responsibilities:
    • Identifying Partnerships and Promotional portfolio opportunities, recommend incremental brands or programming to build the portfolio
  • Brand management and planning:
    • Support team in assembling brand plan and IBM materials (data collection / analysis, preparation of materials)
    • Sales communications:
      Support the development of sales communication updates with oversight from the brand management team
    • Initiative trackers:
      Aid in updating initiative trackers
    • Vendor / agency management:
      Help manage smaller agencies or limited-run / one-off items and coordinate scheduling
Skills / Competencies
  • Strong analytical abilities; able to use multiple sources of data and put together data visualizations
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong marketing, finance, and commercial understanding and intuition
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks effectively
  • Active learner; ability to learn quickly
  • Be willing to take responsibility and accountability
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional business units
  • Problem solving attitude
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI); ability to learn new systems
  • Willingness to be a part of a team that works hard and has fun

Education: Bachelor s degree required (preferably Business, Commerce)

Experience: Marketing experience preferred. Analytical and project management experience is a plus.
