• Vehicle Disassembly : Systematically remove damaged body panels, lights, bumpers, and interior trim components.
• Damage Assessment & Supplementing : Inspect vehicles for hidden, internal damage not visible in the initial estimate, and prepare detailed supplement reports for estimators.
• Reassembly : Reinstall final trim, moldings, and details after structural/paint work is completed.
• Safety & Compliance : Maintain a clean workspace, follow company safety procedures, and adhere to environmental regulations regarding hazardous waste disposal.

Required Skills &

Qualifications:

• Experience: Previous auto body repair, collision, or mechanical experience is typically required.
• Technical Knowledge: Ability to read work orders and follow OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) standards.
• Tools: Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and proper tool maintenance.
• Communication: Effective communication with estimators, painters, and parts departments.
• Attributes: Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Must possess a High School Diploma or equivalent

Solid working knowledge of the processes, techniques and materials used in repairing automotive equipment with a minimum of 1-3 years of experience working in the collision repair arena.

Possess extensive knowledge of vehicle structure to remove and replace damaged components, such as doors, windscreens and fenders.

Demonstration of safety precautions required in performing the work in this position.

Possess a strong attention to detail in addition to the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

Strength to perform average lifting up to 70 pounds.

Demonstrated agility, equilibrium and coordination as required when climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling and balancing under precarious conditions.

Strong arm, hand and finger dexterity with demonstrated physical capacity to reach, handle, and feel in tight confined spaces with limited visibility.

Ability to work in high performance, fast-paced production environment.
