Summary of PositionPenn State Health is seeking a Physical Therapist to join our Outpatient Pediatric program at our East Campus located at 30 Hope Drive in Hershey, PA. You will have the opportunity to work in an academic medical setting alongside a team of seasoned therapists (Occupational, Physical, and Speech). You will work closely with Physical and Occupational Therapists, Speech/Language Pathologists, Neurology, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Orthopedics, and primary care providers, amongst others, in treating children with a variety of conditions including by not limited to neurologic, orthopedic, and developmental.
As a member of an academic medical center there is strong focus on education and training with opportunities to participate in rounds/educational events and to mentor students and medical residents. The preferred candidate will have a minimum of 5 years experience in pediatrics.
- Bachelor's degree in physical therapy from a CAPTE certified program and completion of clinical rotations required.
- Currently licensed to practice as a Physical Therapist by the state of employment. If working under a temporary license, Physical Therapy license in the state of employment must be obtained within three (3) months of employment.
- BLS certification prior to orientation completion
