To proactively establish and maintain relationships with practice site management and providers outside the Academic Medical Group and build new referral relationships. Build a concierge referral process by consistently communicating with internal and external customers. Improve fill rates and reduce access time.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES- Proactively establish and maintain relationships with practice sites external to Academic Medical Group.
- Work with non‑Cerner EMR to communicate with referring providers and collect data necessary for patient visits.
- Expedite the scheduling of these patients with goal of a visit being offered within five (5) days.
- Build process flow for all of our customers.
- Collaborate with external and internal customers to determine the best scheduling practice for our patients.
- Responsible for the development of metrics and presentation of dashboard to internal and external customers.
- Schedule patient visits and diagnostic tests.
- Provide timely, accurate communication to patients, practice site management and providers.
- Understand and be able to articulate HIPAA/privacy policies and laws to protect patient confidentiality.
- Understand demonstrate ability to efficiently obtain priority insurance approvals as necessary.
- High school degree or equivalent required.
- One (1) year of experience working in a healthcare setting.
