The Division of Plastic Surgery at Penn State Health is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Plastic Surgeon with fellowship training in Pediatric Plastic Surgery or Craniofacial Surgery to join our growing academic practice. This is an entry-level faculty position at the Assistant Professor level
, ideal for candidates looking to launch their academic career. We are looking for a candidate with advanced training and proficiency in congenital reconstruction such as cleft lip and palate, craniosynostosis and orthognathic surgery
. This position offers a unique opportunity to combine clinical excellence in a multidiscipline setting with academic pursuits in research and teaching.

The Penn State Health Pediatric Plastic Surgery team serve as the surgical arm for all cleft surgery at the Lancaster Cleft Palate Clinic, the first multidiscipline cleft clinic in the world. Involvement in the multidiscipline Craniofacial Clinic and Vascular Anomalies Clinic at Penn State Health includes working with Pediatric Neurosurgery, Pediatric Ophthalmology, Genetics, Pediatric Dermatology, and Interventional Radiology. Orthognathic surgery is coordinated with orthodontists for cleft related care, skeletal malocclusion, and traumatic reconstruction.

Facial trauma reconstruction is shared with Otolaryngology. Penn State Health is an integrated academic health system serving patients and communities across 15 counties in central Pennsylvania. Our mission is to improve health through patient care, research, education and community outreach.

• Ability to focus on growth of adult and pediatric plastic surgery care in the region.
• Participate in education of our ACGME-accredited integrated plastic surgery residency program.

• BC/BE in Plastic Surgery with the completion of fellowship training in Pediatric Plastic or Craniofacial Surgery
• Ability to acquire a license to practice in the State of Pennsylvania
• Must be able to obtain valid federal and state narcotics certificates
• A strong commitment to patient care, medical student and resident education, research/scholarly activity and an academic perspective on clinical care necessary
