Responsibilities (Short)
Provide Med-Surg adult patient care with a 5:1 ratio
Perform ongoing assessments, documentation, and monitoring
Manage stroke patients , requiring NIHSS assessments
Administer medications and follow care plans
Collaborate with the healthcare team and respond to patient needs
Use EPIC EMR for charting
Requirements
Job Requirements
Certifications
BLS/BCLS – Required
NIHSS Certification – Required (medical stroke unit)
Experience
Minimum Experience:
1 year (Med-Surg Adult)
Licensing
State License: Must be currently active (Illinois RN license)
Specialty Requirements
