Registered Nurse - Inpatient Rehab

The Registered Nurse (Inpatient Rehab) provides comprehensive nursing care to patients recovering from illness, injury, or surgery in a rehabilitation setting. This role focuses on promoting patient independence, supporting recovery goals, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to deliver safe, effective, and compassionate care.

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans to support rehabilitation goals.
• Educate patients and families on recovery strategies, self-care, and health maintenance.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the medical record.
• Promote patient safety and adhere to infection control standards.
• Provide emotional support and encouragement to patients and families throughout the rehabilitation process.

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
• Must have at least 2 years of recent experience in the specialty within the past 2 years.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.

• Prior experience in inpatient rehabilitation or long-term care.
• Training in physical medicine, rehabilitation nursing, or related specialties.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems.

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferre d.
