Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Inpatient Rehab night shift position in Illinois, requiring an active IL RN license and BLS certification.
Responsibilities
• Work in an inpatient rehabilitation unit
• Night shift schedule from 7 pm to 7 am
• Position involves working every third weekend, specifically Friday and Saturday nights
• High neurological patient population is typical
• Responsibilities are similar to a medical floor, except no Heparin drips
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team
• Provide patient and family education as appropriate
• Use clinical judgment and professional communication to report changes in patient condition
• Maintain accurate medical records in accordance with policy
• Weekend and holiday coverage may be required
Requirements
• Active Illinois RN license required
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• Stroke certification is preferred but not required
