1st Grade Teacher

A free public charter school located in Herriman, Utah. We are looking for a passionate, enthusiastic teacher who would like to be a part of our amazing AAA team. We are seeking a dedicated and passionate 1st Grade Teacher to join our team for the  school year.

As a teacher at Advantage Arts Academy, you will integrate art (dance, theater, music, and visual arts) into all aspects of the curriculum to engage students in learning. At Advantage Arts Academy we are looking for teachers that love to have an active classroom where students collaborate with one another and are immersed in the curriculum through art integration. You don't have to be an artist or musician to be a teacher at Advantage Arts, you just need to have a love of the arts.

The mission of Advantage Arts Academy, in alignment with the Beverley Taylor Sorenson Arts Learning Program, is to effectively increase our students' performance in every subject, as well as improve students' core academic capacity, emotional well-being, arts awareness, and social skills.

Qualified applicants will have a valid Utah Elementary or Early Childhood Education teaching license. Candidates who hold certifications or endorsements to teach multiple subjects are strongly encouraged to apply. Prior teaching experience is preferred. Applicant must demonstrate ability to engage and inspire students toward meeting the school's mission and vision.
