What “Term Time Plus” MeansThis role follows the school calendar: you work during student term time plus an additional 5 days for training, preparation, or key school events.
Your salary is pro-rata but paid evenly over 12 months, giving you consistent monthly pay while enjoying more time off during school holidays — supporting a better work–life balance.
Why This Role MattersAs Reset Room Manager, you will oversee the smooth running of the Reset Room, providing a calm, supportive environment where students reflect on behaviour, complete work to expected standards, and engage with interventions designed by the pastoral team.
Your work will directly impact student behaviour, learning, and wellbeing every day.
What You’ll Do- Build positive relationships with students to support reflection and engagement
- Supervise students in the Reset Room, helping them complete work and maintain focus
- Provide reflective opportunities and pastoral support as appropriate
- Ensure safety of students in the Reset Room and around the school
- Participate in duty rotas and on-call support during lessons, unstructured times, and key points of the day
- Address behaviour incidents calmly and consistently, following school procedures
- Maintain clear routines and expectations in the RESET Room
- Identify barriers to student reintegration into lessons and report to Heads of Year/School
- Support OPS students from partner schools completing their sanctions
- Keep the Reset Room organised, welcoming, and conducive to learning
- Undertake training in first aid, fire marshalling, and other relevant school duties
