9/80 – Employees work 9 out of every 14 days – totaling 80 hours worked – and have every other Friday off

Job Description:

Responsible for performing and managing physical and administrative tasks related to inventory control, shipping, receiving, storing, and distribution of materials, parts, supplies, and equipment. Duties include rejecting unsatisfactory items, determining routing and arrangements for shipments based on item characteristics, urgency, and cost, and selecting the most economical and efficient carriers. Prepares and maintains records of shipped and received products, processes freight bills and related documentation, and tracks shipments using a Product Tracking System.

Receives, unpacks, and verifies incoming materials against purchase orders or invoices, ensuring conformance to stated identifications and inspecting for non‑conforming material per company procedures. Stocks and distribute materials in inventory and on manufacturing lines. Ensures compliance with material handling procedures, Environmental Health and Safety requirements, and safe handling of chemicals per the Hazardous Chemical Guidebook. Troubleshoots and rectify straightforward discrepancies, escalating issues as needed.

Essential Functions:
  • Perform and manage shipping, receiving, storing, and distribution of materials, parts, supplies, and equipment
  • Track all production and non‑production material using a Product Tracking System
  • Prepare and maintain shipping and receiving documentation
  • Identify and elevate problems in straightforward situations to management for resolution
  • Verify and inspect for non‑conforming material in accordance with company procedures
  • Safely handle, transfer, and transport chemicals per safety guidelines
  • Maintain records of received goods and process freight bills, packing sheets, and other documents
  • Operate material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, tow motors, forklifts) upon certification
  • May perform wood shop functions for building skids and crates
  • Ensure compliance with material handling procedures and Environmental Health and Safety requirements
  • Ability to obtain/hold a CDL and DoD security clearance if required
Qualifications:
  • Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post‑Secondary/Associates Degree with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience.
Preferred Additional

Skills:
  • Experience in a receiving, distribution, transportation, or logistics environment preferred
  • Ability to operate material handling equipment upon certification
  • Experience with SAP, TMS, MRP, and Agile/PDM software tools
  • Organizational, operational, and leadership skills
  • Current/previous Dangerous Goods by Air certification
  • General knowledge of electronic component handling, packaging, and storage
