Job Description

Our client is seeking an experienced, Senior Full Stack Java Developer to support a customer on a long term program. The Full Stack Developer is a key member of the development organization. The Full Stack Developer will work within an agile development organization and be responsible for the design and development of a new search application.

The user should have experience building feature-rich UIs in Angular

JS that are backed by REST based services written in Spring. The engineer will be responsible for:

• Work as an integral part of a cross-functional engineering team.
• Participate in the technical design and development of new features and products.
• Participate in code reviews and other techniques to improve code quality.
• Ensure automated builds and continuous integration are working at all times.
• Contributing to technical documentation and training material.
• Contributing to the continual improvement of the product and development processes.
• Participating in software development process following agile model.

The Software Developer shall be required to have expertise in the following technologies:

• Angular (4, 5, 6 or
  7)
• Spring
• SQL
• Java
• JPA (JAVA Persistence API) / Spring Data JPA

Requirements

Required Skills:

• Solid resume experience with developing UI for search screens and dashboards using responsive frameworks such as Angular JS.
• Ability to interact with customer and translate their requirements to wireframes and mockups.
• Java expert, with experience and familiarity building modern Spring applications with Spring Boot; strong background with Spring and related projects
• Experience building distributed / service oriented / microservice-style and cloud based application architectures
• Cloud development and Microservice experience needed

Desired

Skills:

• Experience with Git/Github for maintaining source control on code
• Experience with Jenkins for building and deploying applications
• Experience with Java build processes using Gradle and Maven.
• Experience with Elastic Search and or Solr
• Experience in Java and Python programming with the AWS SDK
