Job Summary

EMCOR Government Services has an opening for a Locksmith in Herndon, VA. The Locksmith will troubleshoot and maintain equipment. The scheduled hours are: 6am - 2pm. This position is covered by the CBA for Local 99.

• Perform preventive maintenance of all doors and associated equipment on site.
• Assist with the troubleshooting of all door equipment on site.
• Institute the corrective action and/or inform the supervisor of any deficiencies found in the course of performing the job.
• Maintain the locksmith computer program on site.
• Perform other tasks as directed by the supervisor.

• Hold a Locksmith Certification.
• Hold or have the ability to acquire X-09/X-10 Certification.
• Be able to demonstrate practical knowledge of Trade.
• Be able to demonstrate practical knowledge of Tools in Trade.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain an ISSA TS/SCI w/Poly.

• Heavy physical effort (lift/carry up to 50 lbs / push up to 100 lbs).
• Prolong, extensive or considerable standing/walking.
• Push/pull or move/lift equipment, supplies, parts.
• Manual dexterity and mobility.
• Considerable reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling and crouching.
