Herndon Animal Medical Center, AAHA-accredited general practice, has been proudly serving the Herndon, VA community for over 25 years. We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Veterinary Assistant to join our dynamic team.
What We’re Looking For- A veterinary assistant with 1-2 years of experience, though we will welcome someone with limited experience and offer a strong training program to help you grow.
- Comfortable talking and interacting with clients.
- A team player who values a collaborative, respectful environment.
- In this position, you will learn proper restraint and how to assist the doctors in appointments.
- Assist with surgical before and after care, venipuncture, and positioning for radiographs.
- Learn Cold Laser treatment protocols and how to run in-house lab services and reference lab preparation.
- Become proficient with our clinic software and client communication.
- Support daily operations and contribute to a high-quality standard of care.
