Position: Systems Administrator with Security Clearance

We are looking for a Systems Administrator to join our high-performing team on a dynamic, mission-focused program.

This program leverages software engineering, development of web-based applications, and serverless infrastructures (AWS C2S). This position is in Herndon, VA. Responsibilities:
* Monitor the system's logs and applications daily, preferably leveraging automation

* Conduct system backups on an interval agreed upon with the Customer

* Conduct data archiving on an interval agreed upon with the Customer

* Perform system hardening of Linux systems according to information security engineering principles and industry best practices

* Maintain all servers, including Windows servers, Linux servers, Oracle database servers, Apache servers, DNS servers and Domain controllers

* Apply server patches and operating system updates in a timely fashion as defined by the Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM)

* Assist the Customer with hardware and software acquisitions and implementation

* Ensure software licenses are renewed as appropriate

* Obtain Customer waivers as necessary

* Submit Discrepancy Reports (DR) and Requests for Change (RFC) through the appropriate Customer channels

* Work closely with the ISSM and other customer security elements as required Requirements:
* 10+ years' experience in configuration management

* Bachelor's degree or higher in the field of computer science, information systems, engineering, mathematics, or other related technical discipline.
* Experience in all the following either individually or as part of a team:
Linux servers, Windows servers, Oracle database servers, DNS servers, Domain controllers, network storage devices and HP servers

* Experience designing, configuring and installing information systems that include routers, servers, switches, storage systems, and laptops

* Experience designing and implementing Microsoft Windows based domains

* US citizenship with an active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance Desired

Skills:

* Experience deploying the complete Dev Ops lifecycle including integration of build pipelines, automated deployments, and compliance scanning using test driven development

* Experience in the deployment, provisioning, operations and maintenance of Linux environments running centos and Ubuntu

* Experience working Information Security (INFOSEC) and Information Assurance (IA) policies such as ICD
503 to ensure system security and data integrity

* Experience implementing, developing, and testing automation tools and IT infrastructure

* Experience managing virtualized infrastructure
