Client: Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) is seeking an Oracle HCM Technical/Functional resource for Oracle HCM SaaS system administration and development. Responsibilities include configuration set up, report and dashboard development, security, workflow and journeys to support Redwood conversion and maintenance across HCM modules.

The candidate will be tasked with creating new and updating existing set up/configurations and developing enhancements in Prod environment. They will work with functional and IT teams to assess and mitigate impact of upcoming patches and resolve SRs with Internal business, technical and Oracle teams. They will provide critical configuration and technical help to support migration to Redwood of implemented modules and support new module implementation when needed.

Work Location: Must work onsite in Richmond, VA for the first two weeks or more, then remotely. Occasional office visits may be required.

• Report enhancements to add subject area reports and make the existing reports available in report or dashboard format using RFT, OTBI, and BI tools and implementing Data Fusion analytics.
• Creating new journeys – specifically contextualized and guided to support and enhance transactional processes.
• Provide technical expertise to production enhancement activities related to Talent areas such as performance evaluations, touch points, goals, and talent review and succession planning set up.
• Work with IT and functional teams to facilitate conversion from Responsive UI to Redwood for existing functionality and enhancements possible via this conversion, including HCM, Talent Management, Compensation, Health and Safety, Help Desk/Knowledge Center, Case Management, Succession Planning.
• Assist with complex user issue resolution.
• Work with functional and technical teams to address functional changes in system modules including ORC, Comp, HCM, Health and Safety, Case Management/help desk, Profiles, Learning etc.
• Support, build and set up HDL and interface activities, critical for workforce structures, job and position profiles.

• Three years of experience in the following:
• Ability to create, edit, and generate reports via RTF, BI, OTBI in Oracle HCM/Data Fusion analytics.
• Ability to create Dashboards – global and secure.
• Set up and configuration of HCM modules – Core, Talent, compensation, Recruiting, Help Desk, Safety, ORC.
• Ability to create and maintain journeys – contextualized, guided, and regular.
• Familiarity with troubleshooting end‑user issues.
• Experience with HR functional teams.
• Ability to set up and troubleshoot transactional workflows.
• HDL loads.
• Experience with gathering functional user requirements and translating to deliverable (highly desired).
• Experience with creating automated integrations (highly desired).
• Experience in creating forms (nice to have).
• Creating testing scripts to support functional changes (desired).

Salary: $110-115k/A with benefits
