We are seeking a skilled Systems Engineer with expertise in Dev Ops to join our technology-based program supporting a key Government customer. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing our customer's application infrastructure in support of this customer's mission, ensuring the smooth operation of all systems within the virtual environment (Nutanix, VMs,) to optimize performance, scalability and automation. Responsibilities:
* Manage and maintain the customer's application servers, networks and development & test infrastructure
* Deploy, configure, and troubleshoot application hosting services
* Monitor system performance and audits to ensure data integrity and protection
* Collaborate with internal teams to identify technical requirements and implement solutions that meet business needs
* Provide technical support and guidance to end-users, resolving issues in a timely manner
* Implement best practices for automation, backup, disaster recovery, and system redundancy
* Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in cloud computing and IT systems administration #LI-EE1 ABC Required Education, Experience, & Skills We are looking for experienced Systems Engineers to join our technology-based program supporting a key Government customer. A Bachelor's or Master's degrees in computer science are preferred with 11 year's relevant experience and education with the following skillsets:
* Infrastructure as a code languages (e.g. Ansible, Chef, Puppet, etc.)
* Experience with Linux System Administration and containerization tools (e.g. Docker)
* Ability to use source Control tools (e.g. Git, Subversion,)
* Experience in Cloud based services (AWS, Azure)
* Understand and implement network architecture (e.g. VLAN, subnets)
* Candidate should have experience in security review of applications and infrastructure.
* Ability to analyze and solve networking issues
* Researches new technologies in object oriented programming.
* Works well in a engineering team environment with other teammates who varied skills levels.
* Ability to mentor others Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
* Experience with infrastructure automation technologies like Cisco NSO
* Experience with SD-WAN technology and applications (e.g Versa)
* Experience with build automation technologies like Maven, Jenkins, etc.
* Experience with building APIs and services using REST, SOAP, etc
* Experience with scripting languages like Perl, Shell, Bash etc. Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $149603 - $254317

However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
