We’re the people who keep the cloud running, supporting all AWS data centers and the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure our customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on. We work on challenging problems with thousands of variables impacting the supply chain, and we’re looking for talented people who want to help.

You’ll join a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles. You’ll collaborate with teams across AWS to deliver high safety and security standards while providing scalable capacity at the lowest possible cost. You’ll experience an inclusive culture that welcomes bold ideas and empowers you to own them to completion.

We’re seeking an experienced Technical Infrastructure Program Manager in Herndon, VA to oversee data center build projects. The Technical Infrastructure Program Manager will lead cross-functional and technical teams from conceptual design feasibility through requirements, budget, completed design, implementation, testing, and deployment. You will use judgment, negotiation skills, influence, analytical talent, technical aptitude, and leadership to collaborate with stakeholders across time zones, manage capital budgets, eliminate non-value-add activity, design solutions, remove blockers, and accelerate project delivery.

The successful candidate will be a strong communicator (written and verbal), comfortable with ambiguity and competing priorities, and capable of understanding mechanical/electrical engineering concepts. They will apply a variety of project management tools, methodologies, and techniques for all phases of the project lifecycle and demonstrate core project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, resources, quality and risk management, reporting, and metrics.

Experience with MS Office, MS Project and MS SharePoint is expected; experience with Tableau, Kan Ban, Playbook, SQL and systems integration is a plus.

If you enjoy the challenges of deploying highly technical and innovative projects at massive scale, this job is for you.
