The Virginia Dept of Social Services (DSS) is seeking a Java/JEE developer who has worked in Web Sphere and Oracle to upgrade applications from Web Sphere 8.5.5 and remove IE11 settings. This hybrid position requires 2‑3 days on‑site. The candidate should be proficient in JSP, JavaScript, Struts 1.x and 2.x, EJB and JPA and able to develop user stories and fix Veracode flaws reported by Static Code Analysis (SAST).

• 8 years of experience in Java 8/17, J2EE 6, Maven and Java Script
• 5 years of experience in Git Hub, Apache Log4j2, web‑browser debugging and OWASP/SAST tools usage
• 6 years of experience in JSF/JSP

Salary: $120‑125k A with benefits.
