Systems Administrator, IT Support, Network Administrator, Cloud Computing
Altus Consulting is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Systems Administrator to join our team. You will be responsible for the day-to-day operation and maintenance of our IT infrastructure, ensuring its stability, security, and performance.
Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain servers, desktops, network devices, and other IT infrastructure.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including system updates, backups, and security patching.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot technical issues.
- Respond to user requests and provide technical support.
- Document system configurations and procedures.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest IT technologies and best practices.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Knowledge of networking protocols and technologies.
- Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (optional).
- Strong scripting skills (Power Shell, Python).
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Basic Qualifications:
- Active TS/SCI with poly clearance is required.
- Associate's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (preferred).
- 2+ years of experience in systems administration or a related role.
- Understanding of IT infrastructure and best practices.
