OverviewTyto Athene is searching for a Space and Intelligence Senior Director to lead strategy and program excellence across the company’s portfolio of solutions and services delivered to Space, Intelligence, and other strategic customers.
Responsibilities- Manage a large profit and loss organization, planned revenue, and execution of program growth initiatives.
- Oversee all aspects of program delivery compliance and customer satisfaction.
- Develop strategies to introduce new service delivery practice capabilities.
- Identify efficiencies to maximize profit in all service delivery.
- Recruit, develop, and train skilled delivery resources.
- Provide leadership and vision to employees, motivating them to achieve business goals and instill a culture of customer service and accountability.
- Leverage existing and build new relationships to expand Tyto Athene’s network and reputation with Space and Intelligence customers and other key mission-linked programs.
- Participate in proposal development from an operations and delivery perspective, managing the approach and program management plan, and contributing to solutioning related to technical approach and strategic pricing.
- The ideal candidate is a proven technology leader with superior client service delivery, exceptional people leadership, P&L management, and growth capabilities.
- Capable of establishing a broader vision to lead and grow the business.
- Master at translating federal agency requirements, operations, and programs into new Tyto Athene engagements and relationships driven by best‑in‑class technology solutions.
- Agile leader who excels in a fast‑paced environment and shapes innovative solutions with customers to exceed growth targets.
- Passion for innovation and cutting‑edge technology (technologist experience not required).
- Experience managing a P&L of at least $50 million with a track record of significant organic growth.
- Proven growth within a digital modernization or technology solution and implementation business directed toward Space & Intelligence customers.
- 15+ years of progressively responsible growth and general management experience in professional services and technology solutions with P&L management in the Space & Intelligence sectors.
- Demonstrated credibility and trusted relationships with Space & Intelligence customers, especially within the intelligence community and defense space market.
- Experience leading and growing an application and portfolio modernization business/market.
- Deep experience within the federal IT modernization, platform/product solutions, and data analytics marketplace.
- Successful history of developing and executing growth strategies with relevant technology‑oriented professional services businesses.
- Experience and success developing growth strategy and working closely with business development teams on capture strategies and proposals.
- Experience driving inorganic growth strategy, integrating acquisitions, building culture, and assembling diverse teams.
- Exceptional verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making capabilities.
- Sound business ethics, including the protection of proprietary and confidential information.
- Able to collaborate and motivate project teams and work with all levels of internal staff.
- Ability to develop strong working relationships with senior executives and clients.
- Bachelor’s degree in business or technical field; MBA or master’s degree desired.
- Program Manager and/or PMI PMP experience desired.
- Reston, VA
- Candidate must be able and willing to travel 25–50% of the time.
