YSI is seeking a System Administrator. The ideal candidate will be responsible for:

• Network Infrastructure
  • Computer networking concepts, protocols, and security methodologies
  • LAN/WAN architecture and pathways
  • Bandwidth management principles and techniques
  • Network traffic flow (TCP/IP and OSI model)
  • Performance tuning tools and techniques
  • Remote access technologies
  • VPN security
  • Network protocols (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, directory services)
  • Common network tools (e.g., ping, trace route, nslookup)
  • File system implementations (NTFS, FAT, EXT)
  • Virtualization technologies and virtual machine management
• Security Expertise
  • IT security principles and methods (e.g., firewalls, DMZs, encryption)
  • Network security architecture concepts (topology, protocols, defense‑in‑depth)
  • Cybersecurity principles, threats, and vulnerabilities
  • National and international cybersecurity laws, regulations, and policies
  • Organizational IT user security policies (account management, access control)
  • Data security standards (PII, PCI, PHI)
  • System/ network/ OS hardening techniques
  • Software‑based protection tools (firewalls, antivirus, antispyware)
  • Knowledge of transmission records (Bluetooth, RFID, IR, Wi‑Fi) and jamming techniques
• System Administration
  • Server and client operating systems
  • Systems administration concepts and best practices
  • Enterprise IT architecture
  • System/server diagnostic tools and fault identification
  • Operating system command line/prompt utilities (ipconfig, netstat, dir, nbtstat)
  • System maintenance procedures (cleaning, disk checks, reboots, backups)
• Cloud Computing
  • Cloud service models (SaaS, IaaS, PaaS)
  • Cloud deployment models (private, public, hybrid)
  • Cloud security strategy and architecture
  • Migrating workloads between cloud service models

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Cybersecurity/IT)
• Four (4) years of system management experience
• Accumulation of qualifying experience may be accumulated concurrently, covering the categories above

$77,000 – $130,000 per annum.
