Please note:

This role is hybrid, and candidates must be within a commutable distance to our Herndon VA office.

• Dive deep into the landscape of Business AI, exploring current trends, methodologies, and best practices.
• Learn and understand SAP NS2's existing systems using SAP AI - Business Transformation Platform (BTP) and identify opportunities for AI and data analytics integration.
• Collaborate closely with various engineering teams to facilitate the adoption of AI and data-driven solutions.
• Engage with customers to gather requirements, understand their challenges, and translate them into actionable AI functionalities, considering the role of data insights.
• Contributes to the design and conceptualization of SAP’s new AI-powered features and products, potentially incorporating data analytics capabilities.

• Proven experience in developing and optimizing machine learning models
• Strong competence with various tools, procedures, and programming languages relevant to machine learning and AI, such as Python, Tensor Flow, PyTorch, etc.
• Experience in applying recent research breakthroughs to real-world problems to create business value.
• Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively on projects with moderate complexity.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to enhance existing systems and processes.
• Excellent communication skills to build collaborative work relationships and convey Relevant messages clearly and constructively.
• Proficiency in designing and implementing novel machine learning algorithms.
• Understanding of AI ethics and explainability.
• Ability to ensure performance and system scalability through collaboration with development teams.

• Innovative mindset to push the frontiers of machine learning with real data.
• Ability to understand business problems from beginning to end and apply research insights effectively.

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Data Science, Machine Learning, or a related field.
