Overview

Our client is looking to fill an Information Review and Release Analyst – Expert role. It is a part-time position (24-36 hours per week) located in the Herndon, VA area, supporting a dynamic fast-paced business office on the KODIAK Program. The role involves reviewing products for the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), Privacy Act (PA), and Executive Order Mandatory Declassification Review (EOMDR) programs, as well as Executive Order (EO) 13526 directives.

The individual will ensure the quality and accuracy of all documentation reviewed to meet product compliance and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Review products for FOIA, PA, EOMDR, and EO 13526 directives to ensure compliance and quality.
• Support the review process and maintain accurate, thorough documentation.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and implement improvements as appropriate.

Required Skills

• Must have excellent communications and interpersonal skills, with experience working in a team environment.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Knowledge of FOIA, PA, EOMDR programs and EO 13526 directives.
• Strong work ethic and ability to multitask.
• Ability to identify, recommend, and implement process improvements.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, Access, and Sponsor’s electronic databases.

Desired Skills

• Knowledge of Sponsor culture and requirements.

Education

• Business Degree and/or a high school diploma with 11+ years of relevant experience, as reflected in resumes.
• Candidate resumes must demonstrate sufficient experience/education/knowledge/skills/abilities to perform the duties of the position with the Sponsor.
