Experience required: 3-7 years

The successful candidate will:

• Perform system management, Configuration Management, deep troubleshooting, preventative and corrective Maintenance, Performance Monitoring, and enhancement
• Provide comprehensive Windows systems management
• Execute tests of new Hardware and Software
• Plan, and perform the requirements for off-hour systems Maintenance work
• Oversee Change Management activities on the supported systems
• Implement, monitor, and support security controls and capabilities in operating systems, layered products, and specialty Software to achieve security goals
• Develop operations procedures, such as backups, recovery processes, and queue management
• Install and configure Windows systems
• Assist business users and systems engineers with the setup, installation, and testing of their Applications
• Interface with users and systems engineers in order to resolve technical and user Problems

Requirements:

• BA/BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or an equivalent combination of education or experience
• Certification in System or Data Management
• 3-7 years of experience managing and supporting Windows environment, with skill sets including:

• Active Directory architecture
• Microsoft Clustering
• Microsoft Encryption
• File & Print Management
• IIS, FTP, and web technologies
• Virtual Infrastructure (VMware) 3.0/3.5/4.0
• System monitoring tools such as EMC Ionix and Microsoft System Center
• Antivirus Protection
• System Backup/Restore procedures
• Administrative Scripting using VB, Powershell, or CLI
• Citrix & Remote access administration
• Email and Data Archiving
• Red Hat Linux knowledge/certification
• Exchange architecture/support
• Mail architecture related to perimeter security, anti-spam, routing, mailbox failover, and archiving technologies (Iron Mail/Symantec Enterprise Vault)
• IPAM – Blue Cat Networks
• Blackberry 4.x/5.x support
• SharePoint architecture and administration
• Microsoft Windows 2000, 2003, 2008, and 2012

Additional Requirements:

• 3-7 years of experience configuring and managing Storage Subsystems
• Knowledge of standard System Administration tools and practices
• Knowledge of industry and government security standards and practices
• Strong administration skills
• Strong communication skills (written and oral)
