Regional Tax Expert

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Tax Expert in Herndon, VA. We are seeking an experienced Tax Expert to support corporate tax compliance and reporting across North America (U.S., Canada, and Puerto Rico). This position will be in the Herndon, VA area and hybrid with flexible on days.

• Prepare and support federal, state/provincial, and other tax filings (including corporate, GST/VAT, withholding, and related returns)
• Assist with monthly and annual tax compliance, provisions, and estimates
• Review invoices and financial statements for tax compliance
• Support audits and liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and tax authorities
• Participate in tax research and special projects

• CPA or CA certification required
• 3+ years of corporate tax experience
• Strong Excel skills; experience with large ERP systems (SAP preferred)
• Solid accounting knowledge and strong communication skills

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors such as relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
