Job OverviewYou will be part of the Procurement department’s team developing supplier activities and involved in securing aircraft deliveries on‑time, with perfect quality. The role is remote with 80% travel and requires proximity to major U.S. airport hubs such as Dallas/Fort Worth, Atlanta, Chicago, Charlotte, D.C., NYC, or Philadelphia.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and manage supplier activities to ensure on‑time aircraft deliveries with perfect quality.
- Lead supplier assessment missions ranging from short‑term (a few days) to long‑term (months) addressing complex supply‑chain or quality‑management issues.
- Build and maintain stakeholder relationships across supply‑chain, operations and quality functions.
- Drive special projects to resolve supply‑chain challenges.
- Travel up to 80% domestic, occasionally internationally.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum eight (8) years of professional experience in Procurement, Supply Chain, and/or Program Management.
- Demonstrable experience applying quality management tools and techniques.
- Expertise in Supplier Recovery and Crisis Management.
- Proficiency in Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) and Six Sigma.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and Lean methodology knowledge.
- Experience with transfers of work between production sites or to other countries.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
