The Solution Engineer's role is to develop long term, strategic relationships with existing and prospective customers to achieve significant sales and profit growth. Proactively work with sales management, marketing and related support departments to ensure sales needs are met or exceeded. Provide in-depth knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS) and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and their integration to Costpoint to customers and colleagues.

Understand the needs of customers/prospects and translate those needs into a demonstration of the solution's functional and technical capabilities.

Responsible for pre-sales presentations of the Quality Management and Manufacturing Execution solution suite to secure the sales win, addressing and removing all technical objections to the proposed solution.

• Serves as key strategic and technical advisor for opportunities, making recommendation to sales team based on customer requirements and solution capabilities.
• Prepares and performs detailed product demonstrations for prospects and existing customers.
• Partners with Sales to conduct pre-sales discussions with sales reps to strategize on sales approach and offer product advice.
• Develops and updates demo scripts and demo databases.
• Assists Sales in qualifying prospects from a functional and business process perspective.
• Represents company and demonstrates product at sales and marketing events.
• Mentors and trains peers on QMS & MES applications and methodologies.
• Proactively assumes responsibility for learning new products and maintains outstanding knowledge of relevant software applications
• Actively supports the corporation's Win Strategy.

• In depth product knowledge of QMS & MES systems like TipQA required.
• Product knowledge of Costpoint and Shop Floor Time (UKG Auto Time) preferred.
• Experience with industry standards such as ISO-9001, AS-9100, and TF16949.
• Familiarity with Corrective Action setup, processing and control for processes such as CAPA, 8-D, Supplier Recovery mechanism, 5-Why analysis, RCCA, and more.
• Experience with Inspection methods, controls, and processes to comply with ANZI Z.14, MIL-STD-1916, and C=0 sampling plans.
• Experience with project manufacturing and government contracting or other project-based organizations strongly desired.
• Strong technical background with understanding of enterprise application architecture, application integration, and content management preferred.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Travel required.

The U.S. On-Target-Earnings (OTE) for this position is $83000.00 - $145250.00. This range is subject to change as Deltek takes a number of factors into consideration when determining individual base pay, such as location, job-related knowledge, skills and experience. Certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including incentive compensation and equity.
