Position: Operations Analyst (Dispatcher)

Location: Herndon, Virginia

The Operations Analyst will play a critical role in ensuring efficient and effective operations within a 24/7 operating center. This position involves analyzing customer calls and data to address power outages, dispatching personnel, and managing customer-related work. The role requires strong communication, analytical, and problem‑solving skills to provide superior customer service and support service reliability improvements.

• Analyze customer calls and computer data to determine the location and cause of power outages.
• Dispatch first response personnel and repair crews efficiently to address outages and emergencies.
• Schedule and manage non-emergency customer-related work in a timely and cost-effective manner.
• Accurately report outages to customer accounts and manage Estimated Restoration Times.
• Provide accurate and timely information to customers and resolve customer complaints.
• Deliver timely and accurate data to support continual service reliability improvements.

• High School Diploma or equivalent (minimum requirement).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in computer skills and various software applications.
• Problem resolution and analytical thinking abilities.
• Teamwork, adaptability, and attention to detail.
• Must pass NERC & FERC background investigation.
• 1-5 years of related experience preferred.
• Experience in utility companies, 911 dispatching, military background, or call centers is a plus.

$25–$28 per hour (W2)
