Position Overview

Four Inc. is seeking a motivated Intern to support the Channel & Alliance team while assisting with day‑to‑day operational activities. This role is ideal for someone interested in pursuing a career in IT sales, channel partnerships, or marketing, and who is eager to gain hands‑on experience in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.

The Intern will support sales and channel development initiatives through research, data analysis, CRM management, and preparation of sales materials while developing strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills. This role is well suited for a self‑starter who demonstrates initiative, curiosity, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

This is a hybrid role requiring three days per week onsite at Four Inc.’s headquarters in Herndon, VA, with two remote workdays.

Essential Functions
  • Assist the VP of Channels with data gathering and analysis, outreach, and follow‑ups on our broad partner ecosystem.
  • Prepare sales materials, presentations, and reports using tools such as PowerPoint and spreadsheets.
  • Update and maintain CRM records to consolidate partner ecosystem data.
  • Support daily operational and administrative tasks as needed.
  • Conduct research and perform basic data analysis to support sales, channel, and marketing initiatives.
  • Analyze data to identify trends, insights, and opportunities, and communicate findings to the team.
  • Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and collaborative working sessions.
Qualifications
  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from an accredited college or university.
  • Strong interest in pursuing a career in IT sales, channel partnerships, or marketing.
  • Project- and detail-oriented with strong organizational and time‑management skills.
  • Demonstrates initiative and the ability to work independently with limited supervision or guidance.
  • Curious mindset with a strong willingness to learn new tools, technologies, and processes.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with spreadsheets, CRM platforms, presentation tools (PowerPoint), BI tools, Microsoft Teams, and other Microsoft Office products.
  • Familiarity with or interest in AI tools and their business applications.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to review data, draw conclusions, and share insights or recommendations.

Physical Requirements

The work is generally sedentary and performed in an office or remote setting; however, some travel to government or partner sites may be required. The position may require:

  • Visual acuity to view computer screens, read technical documents, and perform data entry and analysis.
  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
  • Manual dexterity to operate a keyboard, mouse, and standard office equipment.
  • Occasional lifting or carrying of equipment, boxes, or documents (typically under 40 lbs.).
  • Ability to hear and speak clearly in virtual and in‑person meetings.
