ABOUT THE ROLE:The Travel Department Administrator plays a key role in supporting corporate travel, meetings, and expense operations with a strong emphasis on technology administration. This role is responsible for maintaining, administering, and troubleshooting corporate travel and meeting platforms—primarily Concur Travel & Expense and Cvent—while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and policy adherence.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:- Serve as a supporting administrator for Concur Travel & Expense, including onboarding new users, maintaining traveler profiles, and assisting employees with system navigation.
- Review and process travel requests, ensuring required information and approvals are complete.
- Perform quality-control checks on submitted travel and expense items to ensure compliance with company policy.
- Respond to travel-related inquiries, supporting travelers with itinerary changes, cancellations, and troubleshooting platform issues.
- Prepare and distribute policy and training materials to support employee understanding of required travel procedures.
- Act as an administrator for Cvent Meeting technology and mobile app, supporting event setup, attendee management, and platform troubleshooting.
- Support hotel arrangements for trade shows or events, distributing confirmations to travelers and tracking reservations against travel and meeting rosters.
- Maintain and update master event, conference, and tradeshow spreadsheets.
- Administrate hotel payment processing, verify charges, and reconcile receipts for accuracy.
- Educate new hires and travelers on Travel Policy guidelines and system requirements.
- Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to track and report relocation expenses.
- Maintain the Skechers Intranet (SOLE) with accurate travel-related content and resources.
- Support Concur reporting, and system administration related to Travel & Expense.
- Provide general administrative support to the department as required.
- Strong technical aptitude and ability to learn, administer, travel and meeting platforms.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally across all organizational levels.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, for data analysis and reporting.
- Experience using Adobe Acrobat Pro for document preparation and management.
- Familiarity with video conferencing tools (Zoom, Microsoft Teams).
- Experience with Concur Travel & Expense and Cvent or similar event-management systems.
- Experience with design tools (Canva) and project-management platforms (Smartsheet).
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required;
College Degree preferred. - 2+ years of experience in travel coordination, meeting planning, administrative support, or a related corporate role.
- Experience working with travel or expense technology tools strongly preferred.
The pay range for this position is $30-$35/hr USD.
