Travel RN - Operating Room

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN Circulator for a 13-week OR travel assignment requiring active Oregon RN licensure and current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications.

Job Details

• Operating room (OR) circulator role within a perioperative services department,

• Serves all patient populations across the perioperative continuum,

• Day shift schedule,

• On-call responsibilities required on a regularly scheduled rotation for the Surgery Unit,

• Travelers may be floated to other departments where qualified before core staff is floated,

Job Requirements

• Active RN license in the State of Oregon currently in hand,

• Minimum 3 years of RN experience required,

• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC,

• ASN required; BSN preferred,

• CNOR certification preferred,

• Prior RN circulator and/or scrub experience preferred,

• Peri-op 101 course completion preferred,

Additional Information

• Serves as patient advocate throughout the intraoperative and perioperative phases of care, ensuring safety, dignity, and confidentiality,

• Responsibilities include surgical counts, specimen management, correct-site verification, medication administration, and infection prevention interventions,

• Accurately documents all nursing care provided during surgical procedures,

• Collaborates with multidisciplinary team members and applies conflict resolution skills to maintain effective working relationships,

• CNOR and Peri-op 101 are preferred credentials; CRASE training will be required if the assignment extends beyond 6 months,
